The day has finally come! After four years away from Cass and Lance, we’re returning to their ravaged world. This is the first book in a new three-story arc. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did writing it!
Lance York and his group of hardened survivors have spent nearly two years living on an island, isolated from the horrors that devoured the world long ago. After a deluge of hurricanes force them to flee back to the mainland, they struggle for weeks to sail along the coast of what used to be the United States.
When they run out of food and supplies, they enter the long-dead husk of Baltimore. They discover that humanity has clustered into a few encampments, struggling to survive against the monstrosities that own the night.
Within hours of running ashore, Lance and his friends become embroiled in a war between the remaining shreds of mankind and the ever-evolving creatures that dwell in the darkness.
We really love a good John Fasano movie here on So Bad It’s Good. Released one year after the incredible Rock ‘n’ Roll Nightmare, Black Roses followed the heavy metal themes of its predecessor with a much larger budget. Creature fx, geriatrics cast as high school students, and a killer soundtrack await.

For episode 29, horror author Jasper Bark returned to share a beer and some whiskey with me. This was a long one, but we hit a lot of interesting topics ranging from travelling, small presses, the aesthetic of writing, comic book publishing, and on and on. Some good laughs in this one too!
In a So Bad It’s Good first, we watched the SciFi Channel (before it was SyFY) original film SS DOOMTROOPER. With some of the worst creature effects this side of… well, anything else… this movie is a treasure to behold. Starring Corin Nemic and some other people who probably wish they’d chosen something else, SS DOOMTROOPER is an amazing film to behold. It has never been released on disc in the US. We had to import this bad boy from the UK.

Released a week after Halloween and horribly out of focus, we present to you ROCK ‘N’ ROLL NIGHTMARE. One of the greatest bad movies of all time, it has to be seen to be believed. Jon-Mikl Thor is incredible in this little film from start to finish.
